I met up with Caitlin and Dan on March 13th for an engagement session in Philly, and we had a blast exploring the city.
Even though these two are going to be married in Bethlehem in October, they wanted their engagement session here because the city is so close to their hearts. Both of them work in the city, and they appreciate the architecture and atmosphere.
We met up on a cool winter evening, about 30 minutes before sunset, before we headed off to explore Philadelphia’s City Hall. This was probably my favorite location of the shoot because of the architecture. The gorgeous setting truly makes my job easier, and City Hall is by far one of the more stunning locations here in town. I especially liked how the cool stone of City Hall made Caitlin’s red coat pop!
After that, we went down to Broad St. for the iconic night shot—a favorite with most of my clients. But my favorite moment of the night was probably when the two of them danced by an old man playing an accordion. It was such an organic, fun moment.
Dan & Caitlin, thank you for trusting me with your engagement pictures. I absolutely loved spending the evening out and about the town with you!
