Sara and Keith were married on March 17th, with a ceremony and reception at Tendenza. I was especially excited for this wedding because Sara is a cousin of one of my brides, Melissa, and I was thrilled to get to see that family again!
Keith and Sara met at work at the Philadelphia Eagles, where he is a strength and conditioning coach and she is an event operations manager. She was in a coworker’s office when Keith came in, and after a few months of chatting and trying to hang out, he finally asked her over to his house for drinks and cheese.
I started out the wedding day with Sara and the ladies at the Loews Hotel, while my second shooter, Christina, was with the guys across Broad St. at the Marriot. We met up for the first look after that, which ended up being my favorite moment of the whole day! The two of them saw each other on the top floor of the Loews overlooking Philadelphia, and the emotion was palpable. But these two also love to joke around, and Sara even gave Keith Batman socks—to keep him from getting cold feet. Keith also surprised Sara with two wedding bands!
I loved all the little details of this wedding. Not only was it book-themed (Sara made the library card guest cards!) but also, because it was St. Patrick’s Day, there was plenty of Irish culture on display. Sara had her Irish dance group come for a surprise performance, and she even joined in. She was clearly so proud of them! There were also the announcements that included sparklers, the flambé after the cake cutting, the huge cousin Irish car bomb shot, and the St. Patrick’s Day-themed photo booth!
Keith & Sara, thank you for letting me be part of your special day! Congratulations!
